WHAT’S UP TODAY
First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?
Well, if you missed The Lamar Thomas Show last night you can still tune in. A special guest was Mario Cristobal, and you don’t want to miss what he was saying about the Canes’ recruiting efforts and more.
Tonight you also can tune into the Miami Central vs. Chaminade-Madonna game which will be televised on ESPN2 – several Canes targets/commits will be playing and we break that down.
And be sure to check out our feedback with players heading into the game Saturday at Temple, we catch up with several of them including Tyler Van Dyke.
There also was the huge basketball news yesterday with Miami landing its highest-ever ranked prospect, 5-star Jalil Bethea. He’s the nation’s No. 6 overall recruit and we had the breaking news of his commitment plus an analysis of his play and an insightful update with his coach talking about Bethea’s skillset and making an NBA comparison. So don’t miss all that.
This morning we also have your preview of Temple with a look at what Miami is up against in the game.

And we also have some new recruiting updates for you, including tracking the commits’ stats from this past weekend.
Other updates:
Jay’Quan Bostic, a 6-foot-2, 175-pound receiver and Miami commit Elias Rudolph’s teammate, could join Rudolph when he returns to Miami later this year. Bostic worked out for Miami earlier this summer and has maintained contact with Hurricanes receivers coach Kevin Beard, who still reaches out to the West Virginia pledge. Check out what Bostic is saying about UM.
We also catch up with Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage four-star running back Deandre Desinor. He has and offer and continues to forge a strong relationship with Canes coaches.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

TWEETS OF THE DAY
MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
One game at a time? I don’t think so … Posted by 6882
Temple: win by at least 30 points
gtech: win by at least 21 points
unc : win by at least 14 points.
yes, I’m penciling in wins
this has always been the standard/expectation as well it should have been and doesn’t get a pass just cause the previous years sucked.
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY
“Honestly, just me coming in, feeling the culture change, it’s trying to get it back to the old days, to the winning Miami. That’s the focus. One game at a time, one week at a time and I really believe we’ll get there. That’s what we have to tell recruits. Get them in, make this culture change happen.”
