In team news?
We have a couple of really interesting analysis features for you.
In the first we take a look at Miami’s high-powered offense … as it pertains to the remaining opponents. We go inside the stats of the eight remaining opponents on defense, and what we find may surprise you.
Then we do an in-depth film study of the Miami secondary off the first four games of the season, looking at things that need to be shored up with five of the final eight teams currently ranking in the nation’s top 40 in passing yards.
There’s also your Pro Canes, with NFL stats and highlights of former Miami players.
Plus we have basketball for you, with coach Jim Larranaga breaking things down with practice beginning. You don’t want to miss that, or the full basketball schedule being released.

We also have new recruiting updates for you.
Miami 2024 four-star receiver commit Joshisa Trader missed several weeks of the first half of his senior season with an injury, but that hasn’t limited his ability to make an impact on the field or in the locker room. We catch up with his head coach for how he’s been performing.
Columbus (Ohio) Thomas Worthington three-star Pittsburgh commit Francis Brewu has continued to be a name thrown around Miami recruiting circles since he received his offer Aug. 27, and we have the latest there.
Plus Miami has turned into a serious player for Ellaville (Ga.) Schley County 2025 five-star EDGE Zayden Walker, the No. 1 EDGE prospect in his recruiting class and the No. 6 overall recruit, as the Hurricanes battle programs like Georgia and Florida State for the blue-chip recruit. So find out what he’s talking about.
And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY
Bye week thread … Posted by T-Dogg
From a team standpoint, I hope to see our DEs emerge out of this bye week. Will be good to have #5 back on defense as well. Hope our TEs can get going too since it will decrease the defensive numbers in the box, which will be crucial for teams like Clemson and FSU.
MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY
“Coach Cristobal was telling me how it’s going to be different this year. When I was looking at (the team), I was like, ‘Okay, yeah I can see it. I know they’re getting ready to turn it up.’ I actually went to one of their practices, and I was like, ‘Oh yeah, they’re ready.’ It surprised me myself if you want me to be honest, but I knew they had it in them.”
