WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

There was The Lamar Thomas Show last night, and if you missed it you can still tune into a replay this morning.

Don’t miss the updates coming off the practice field we had yesterday, including with QB Carson Beck off his excellent performance in the win over Notre Dame.

This morning we also break down what we learned about Corey Hetherman’s defense in Game 1. So don’t miss that.

Also be sure to check out what Mario Cristobal is saying, including his big picture take on the program off Game 1.

In recruiting?

Miami Northwestern (Fla.) defensive lineman and Texas 2026 commit James Johnson was in attendance at Hard Rock Stadium Sunday night, and he liked what he saw from the Hurricanes.

Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit four-star 2027 linebacker Kaden Henderson already viewed Miami as one of his top schools before his trip to Hard Rock Stadium Sunday for the Hurricanes’ 27-24 win over Notre Dame, and after making the weekend trip, the Canes received a bump from the No. 21 overall prospect. Find out about that.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.
