So you’re saying there’s a chance. That was the message after the College Football Playoff Committee ranked Miami No. 18 in its initial poll released Tuesday night.

Bear (Del.) Carvel Academy 2026 Penn State defensive line commit Isaac Chukwurah has had his share of schools get involved since head coach James Franklin was fired — including Miami. Chukwurah will visit Miami for the first time this weekend, and we catch up with him.
A new name to monitor? Well, Miami is making a strong case for a consensus four-star safety following his decommitment from Kansas last week. That would be Manhattan (Kan.) top-150 safety James “JJ” Dunnigan, and we catch up with him.
