CaneSport Live Was … Epic
Greg was legendary, Gary made great points and Matt was annoying. Yes, CaneSport Live was live last night with fans and the CaneSport staff talking all things Hurricanes. You can still tune in today as Miami gears up for its game against Stanford.
Player chatter

We spoke with Mark Fletcher, Keionte Scott along with offensive linemen yesterday after practice. They discussed the mindset coming off a tough loss to Louisville with Stanford up next. What were the issues and are they getting fixed? Don’t miss what they were talking about.
Stanford put Miami on notice with upset of FSU
Coming off a tough loss to Louisville, Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes next face a Stanford program that’s struggled with six straight seasons of four or fewer wins. But the team just upset FSU, and we take a closer look at whether this can be a team that challenges the Canes.
Miami chasing UCLA commit
Miami also isn’t done expanding its 2026 defensive line board. The Hurricanes offered Marion (Mass.) Tabor Academy four-star UCLA commit Carter Gooden, and he is weighing a visit.
We also have an update with top-100 WR Anthony Jennings. He was in the recruiting section for the Hurricanes’ game against Louisville Friday, and UM will get the No. 84 overall prospect and No. 17 receiver back to Hard Rock Stadium later this fall. Find out where things stand there.
