It was a tough game last weekend for Miami with the loss to Louisville, but the team doesn’t plan to have another letdown. And we’ve got what QB Carson Beck, S Zechariah Poyser and WR CJ Daniels were saying after practice. Beck in particular takes a lot of ownership in the loss. So don’t miss all that.

Yes, Miami lost a game. But Miami is likely to still be favored in the rest of its games and is ranked No. 9 in the nation. If the season ended today, Miami is in the playoffs. So was the loss a big deal? Check out our opinions in our new roundtable this morning.

The Miami Hurricanes are hard at work getting things back right off the first loss of the season. At the same time, Stanford is trying to ride some momentum off a 20-13 upset win over Florida State last weekend. We have the view from their side of the field.

We’re just over a month away from the December Early Signing Period, which means Miami is turning up the heat on many of its top 2026 targets as the Hurricanes gear up for a final major push. Stephen Wagner and Luke Chaney break it all down for you on our latest podcast.

There’s also an update for you with a weekend visitor. Lincolnton (N.C.) top-60 2027 linebacker Jalaythan Mayfield is already high on Miami, and the Hurricanes have a chance to climb even higher when he visits Hard Rock Stadium for the first time this weekend.

Plus don’t miss our breakdown of Miami’s visitor list for this weekend’s game. It’s got some impressive prospects on there.

Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County four-star 2027 receiver Jaden Upshaw is still far from his own signing day, but a handful of schools are beginning to stand out to the No. 108 overall prospect and No. 18 receiver in the Rivals Industry Ranking. Miami’s one of them. Upshaw is the younger cousin of Miami freshman receiver Daylyn Upshaw, so find out the latest here.
