From the game on Saturday night we, of course, had tons of content – check out the postgame feedback from coach Mario Cristobal and players, Gary Ferman’s post-game column and his Q&A with fans, our full game analysis, grading the team, the Pro Football Focus analysis of Miami’s play, our photo gallery, video highlights and more.

If there’s one particular area of SMU’s offense that is going to worry Miami, it’s the Rhett Lashlee offense. Can UM emulate some of what Wake Forest did last weekend to really hold down the Mustangs? This is the side of the ball on which Lashlee’s always staked his claim, including when he was the offensive coordinator at Miami. With an experienced, talented signal caller and speed at running back and receiver, there is going to be a lot for UM defensive coordinator Corey Hetherman to scheme up. We go inside the film for a closer look at what the Canes are facing this Saturday.

We have your post-game feedback to check out, with several key updates.

Akron (Ohio) Walsh Jesuit four-star 2026 receiver Milan Parris has turned into a massive priority for Miami over the last month-and-a-half. Saturday, the Hurricanes made its best effort yet to land him. Find out about that.

Another key visitor was Cypress (Tx.) Cypress Ridge three-star 2026 defensive lineman Isaiah Broughton. he doesn’t want to make a hasty decision after decommitting from UNLV Thursday, but he was glad he visited Miami Saturday for the Hurricanes’ 42-7 win over Stanford. Check out what he’s saying.

Also on hand Saturday: Lincolnton (N.C.) top-60 2027 linebacker Jalaythan Mayfield. He told CaneSport before his trip to Miami Saturday for the Hurricanes’ 42-7 win over Stanford he felt The U could be one of his top schools. He left South Florida happy he made the trip.

Other updates?

We catch up with Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas four-star 2026 cornerback and Georgia commit Justice Fitzpatrick. The chances he’ll still be a Cane?

Plus Miami (Fla.) Northwestern four-star 2026 EDGE Jordan Campbell still feels good about his commitment to the Hurricanes, but there’s no shortage of teams still interested in the No. 182 overall prospect and No. 24 EDGE. Are any of them swaying him?

Because we’ve got your honest to goodness columns, features, analysis and news delivered with honestly, integrity and a little ESV sprinkled in. Corey Hetherman may use the motto ESV as “Excitement, Swarm, Violence” for his defense, but for us it’s “Excellence, Superb coverage and Violence.” Okay, fine, for us the V actually stands for “Value.” Because you can sign up for CaneSport for the $1 in change you find in your couch right now – yes, we’re talking to you.
