The 6-5 Miami Hurricanes enter this weekend’s game off a tough 38-31 loss to Louisville. The team now is 2-5 in its last seven games and is looking to break a three-game losing streak. Up next? The Canes are now set to face Boston College. The Eagles have a 6-5 record and have lost their last two games against Pittsburgh (24-16) and Virginia Tech (48-22).

THE SERIES

•Miami leads the all-time series against Boston College by a commanding 24-6 margin; the programs were once BIG EAST foes before joining the ACC.

•Boston College has won three of the last four matchups overall dating to 2007; Miami last won in Chestnut Hill, Mass., in September 2012, a 41-32 win.

•The Hurricanes carry an 8-4 advantage in games played on the road in the series. Miami won 15 in a row overall over BC from 1985 through 2006.

•Miami wraps up the Year 2 regular season of the Mario Cristobal Era on Fri., Nov. 24 when it travels to Boston College. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m. on ABC.

•UM is coming off a 38-31 loss to Louisville last time out at Hard Rock Stadium on Nov. 18. WR Xavier Restrepo had a career-high 193 yards in the loss.

•Miami had possession of the ball in the red zone with less than two minutes remaining down one score, but the Cardinals stopped UM on 4th and Goal.

•Restrepo was named ACC Receiver of the Week for his game against UofL; he leads the Hurricanes in both receptions (68) and receiving yards (876).

•RB Mark Fletcher, Jr., has posted 100-yard outings in two of the last three games; he had a career-high 126 yards with two touchdowns last time out.

• Another freshman – DL Rueben Bain, Jr. – ranks first among defensive lineman in sacks with 6.5 and is tied for sixrth in the ACC in the category.

•Miami is looking for its second top-25 win of the season Saturday; the Canes picked up an impressive win over #23/#22 Texas A&M, 48-33, on Sept. 9.

•Cristobal is regarded as one of the nations top recruiters, and in his first recruiting cycle as Miami head coach, the Hurricanes signed the best class in program history; it was the top-ranked class in the Atlantic Coast Conference and the top class in the state.

CANES WRAP UP REGULAR SEASON AT BC

•Following a 38-31 loss to a top-10 Louisville side last time out at Hard Rock Stadium, Miami wraps up its second regular season under Mario Cristobal on Nov. 24 with a road showdown at Boston College.

•The Hurricanes carry a commanding 24-6 lead in the all-time series against the Eagles, but have dropped three of the last four matchups overall dating to 2007.

•Cristobal finished 2-0 against BC during his playing days; Miami topped the Eagles, 42-12, in Miami in 1990 and he also helped No. 1-ranked UM to a 19-14 victory in 1991.
