Through the first six games this season, Miami Hurricanes RB Damien Martinez appeared hesitant at times, dancing behind the line looking for holes and then not make much of it. He had no stat line of more than 65 rushing yards other than vs. overmatched Florida A&M (91 yards). Then came a bye week and the game against Louisville.
