TRANSFER PORTAL TRACKER: Washington State S Adrian Wilson has begun Miami Hurricanes visit, has 3 years of eligibility remaining

The Miami Hurricanes are getting a visit starting today from Washington State safety Adrian Wilson, coming on the heels of UM landing its first DB commitment of the portal cycle in safety Zechariah Poyser out of Jacksonville State.
Miami is looking for help at safety and corner this cycle given the issues last season in the defensive backfield. The team added Washington transfer S Meesh Powell for this past season, but he was up-and-down and is out of eligibility. Jaden Harris struggled as the other safety starter, and the other returners at the position on the roster are Markeith Williams, who had limited reps, and true freshman Zaquan Patterson, who shined at times in limited reps. Otherwise guys that didn’t play much as true freshmen were Dylan Day and Isaiah Thomas. True freshmen just added to the team on signing day at safety were Bryce Fitzgerald and Amari Wallace.
Hence the push for safeties in the portal.
As for Wilson? The 6-1, 206-pounder has three years of eligibility remaining, and this past season he was fourth on the team with 47 tackles, 2.5 for losses, along with three pass breakups and a forced fumble.
