Michigan State lands 2026 South Carolina CB Jeremiah Favorite

Michigan State added yet another commitment to its 2026 class on Wednesday, as three-star cornerback Jeremiah Favorite, of Boiling Springs (S.C.) High School, announced his commitment via social media.
Favorite (6-0, 170) took an official visit to Michigan State over the weekend of May 30. He also took official visits to Oklahoma State (April 17), Northwestern (June 6), Indiana (June 13) and Wake Forest (June 20). Favorite held additional offers from North Carolina, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Vanderbilt, Maryland and Virginia, among others.
Favorite is the No. 1,336 recruit, No. 114 cornerback and No. 15 player from South Carolina in the 2026 class, per the On3 Industry Rankings. He logged four interceptions for 79 yards and two pass deflections in the three games listed on MaxPreps from last fall. He also tallied 172 yards on four kick returns (43 yards per return) last season, according to MaxPreps.
Favorite and his mother visited Michigan State for a practice this spring. Favorite returned to campus with his family for the official visit, and the Spartans stuck with them throughout the remainder of their official visit schedule.
