Michigan State lands PWO commitment from Merrimack transfer DB Elisha West

Michigan State added another player via the transfer portal on Friday in redshirt freshman defensive back Elisha West. West will arrive in East Lansing after just one season at Merrimack College, a Division I FCS program located in North Andover, Mass.
West, a preferred walk-on, will reunite with his younger brother, Aydan West, at Michigan State. Aydan, a member of the Spartans’ 2025 class, joined the program a true freshman in January.
The older West entered the transfer portal on April 26, following spring practice at Merrimack. He did not report any additional offers or opportunities during his time in the portal.
West appeared in just two games during his lone season at Merrimack, which he redshirted. He has four years of eligibility remaining.
