Michigan State added a new class of 2026 commitment in three-star wide receiver Raishawn Elmore, of Indian Trail (N.C.) Porter Ridge High School, on Tuesday. Elmore announced his decision via social media.

Elmore (6-2, 185) had previously been committed to East Carolina, but decommited from ECU earlier this week. He took official visits to ECU, Charlotte and Michigan State in the summer.

Wake Forest showed interest this fall, hosting Elmore for an official visit in October. The Rivals Industry Rankings ranks Elmore the No. 1,422 recruit in the 2026 class. He’s also the No. 217 wide receiver and the No. 53 player from North Carolina.

MaxPreps credited Elmore with 1,549 all-purpose yards (750 rushing, 524 receiving and 275 on special teams) as a senior this fall. He scored 17 rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns this season.

Elmore becomes the third wide receiver to join Michigan State’s 2026 class, alongside in-state four-star Samson Gash and Illinois three-star Zachary Washington. Michigan State lost a pledge from four-star Florida receiver Tyren Wortham earlier this fall.

Gash took an official visit to Alabama earlier this fall, as the Crimson Tide have made a late push for the Spartan receiver commit. Sources close to the situation tell SpartanMag that Gash remains firm in his Michigan State pledge, depending on the fate of the Spartan coaching staff.

Michigan State received a commitment from former Miami (Ohio) defensive line pledge Hudson Aultman, of Delaware (Ohio) Olentangy Berlin, earlier this month.

With Aultman and Elmore in the fold, Michigan State’s class now holds 23 commitments. The class is ranked No. 32 in the 2026 Rivals Industry Team Rankings. The Spartans will look to hold onto their current commitments with the early signing period beginning on Dec. 3.
