Michigan State signs 2026 three-star Sioux Falls (S.D.) Jefferson TE Eddie Whiting
Michigan State received a signature from 2026 three-star tight end Eddie Whiting, of Sioux Falls (S.D.) Jefferson High School, on Wednesday.
Whiting (6-6, 230) was one of the first members of the Spartan class, as he committed back in February. Whiting has visited campus several times since his commitment, building a strong relationship with quarterback commit Kayd Coffman, among others, along the way.
“I am a Spartan,” Whiting previously told SpartanMag. “With each visit, I feel more and more assured in my decision. Each visit and interaction with the coaches reflects why I made the right decision. With how relatable they are and how good they are at what they do, I’m excited to help build something special in East Lansing.”
Michigan State represented Whiting’s first Power Four offer. He later received offers from Alabama, Florida, Michigan, Washington, Iowa, Wisconsin, Auburn and UCLA, among others, before committing to Michigan State.
