Justice Haynes injury update: Availability report released for Michigan vs. Washington

The Michigan Wolverines take on the Washington Huskies on Saturday afternoon in Ann Arbor and have released their Big Ten-mandated availability report two hours before kickoff, which includes an injury designation for junior running back Justice Haynes.
Haynes, who comes into this week with a midsection injury, has been listed as QUESTIONABLE by Michigan ahead of Saturday’s conference tilt. He is expected to give it a go in warmups and see how he feels. Regardless, sophomore running back Jordan Marshall could wind up playing a bigger role this week.
Haynes has 95 carries for 705 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, entering this week’s game as the nation’s sixth-leading rusher.

Sherrone Moore weighs in on Michigan vs. Washington
Michigan knows it has its hands full on Saturday in containing Washington quarterback Demond Williams Jr., a week after he racked up 538 total yards of offense in a 38-19 win over Rutgers in Seattle.
“When you’re facing a team like that, you just have to be ready,” head coach Sherrone Moore said during his Monday press conference. “He’s dangerous. He’s dangerous running the ball. He’s dangerous when throwing the ball. He’s dangerous when it’s a scrambled play. So we got to do a great job containing him and making him uncomfortable in whatever facet we decide to do that in.
“That’s going to be the key to stopping — winning the game, and then obviously stopping the run with the running back [Jonah Coleman] because he’s dangerous and he can make you miss. He can run you over. So it’s going to be a concerted effort to hone those two to win the game.”
Michigan and Washington’s showdown at the Big House kicks off just after noon Eastern and will be broadcast nationally via FOX. Next weekend, the Wolverines head to East Lansing for a rivalry game with the Michigan State Spartans, with the kick time revealed later Saturday night.
