Jordan Marshall, an Ohio Mr. Football finalist in 2022, rushed for 1,961 yards and 30 touchdowns and caught 19 passes for 364 yards and four touchdowns for the Crusaders during his junior season. In 2022, he was also named the Ohio Division I co-state player Offensive Player of the Year, and helped Moeller to the state Final Four for the second straight season. “He’s a complete back and can do everything that you’re looking for,” former Moeller coach Mark Elder told On3’s The Wolverine. “He’s a kid who’s great in pass protection and is physical, tough, and strong. He can be kept on third downs when you need him to protect and pick up blitzes. He’s smart when recognizing schemes. He’s just a weapon out of the backfield. He has great hands. You can flex him out or even throw it him out of the backfield. He’s really good in that regard. As a runner, he has all of the tools you look for. He has great vision and patience. He’s fast. He can run by you. He can run over you. He can make you miss. There’s not an aspect of his game that’s lacking right now.”

Jordan Marshall's tough, one-cut running style and versatility as a pass-catcher reminds us of Josh Jacobs. Both were around the same size in high school, but it remains to be seen if Marshall will get up to 220 pounds like Jacobs. Marshall had more verified speed at the same stage.

Registers as a plus athlete on the track with marked improvement with his speed over the course of his junior year, running multiple sub-11.0 second times in the 100 meters, highlighted by a 10.74 second mark. A decisive runner. Hits creases and gets downhill quickly. Strong on contact. Bounces off defenders and runs through arm tackles at the second level. Shows some moves to make defenders miss in space. Effective at running between the tackles and to the perimeter. Showed solid long speed as a junior and should make advances in that area as a senior if his track times are any indication. Very productive and reliable as a junior, rushing for 1,961 yards and 30 touchdowns at 8.0 yards per carry. An effective pass catcher. Productive receiver with 364 yards and four touchdowns as a junior and looks natural catching the football in the camp setting. Has some tightness in his movements and can improve fluidity as he tends to gear down some when changing directions in games. A player who maximizes his talent and may be more developed than some others at this stage for that reason.
