Newsstand: Tom Brady gifts 10-year-old cancer survivor with Super Bowl tickets
Michigan football alum and NFL legend Tom Brady continues to prove why he is one of the best on and off the field.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback gifted 10-year-old fan and cancer survivor Noah Reeb with tickets to the Super Bowl this past weekend. Reeb connected with Brady earlier this season and brought a sign that read, “TOM BRADY HELPED ME BEAT BRAIN CANCER” to a Bucs game.
Brad recorded a video message to Reeb to announce he would be helping send him to Super Bowl 56 in Los Angeles.
“I know it’s been a while. I hope you’re enjoying the season so far. We’re grinding, getting ready to start the playoffs,” Brady said. “But earlier in the year, you held up that sign that I helped you beat brain cancer.

“Well listen, your fight, you’ve inspired so many people, including myself and millions of others also. The NFL and the Bucs look forward to sending deserving fans to the Super Bowl each year and fans that have incredible stories like the one you’ve had. I worked with both the Bucs and the NFL to get you and your family Super Bowl tickets this year in LA! We certainly hope to be there, but I know you’re gonna be there.”
Brady and the Buccaneers advanced to the divisional round of the NFC playoffs on Sunday with a 31-15 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Michigan football quote of the day
Michigan tight ends coach Jay Harbaugh continues to quietly be one of Michigan’s most effective recruiters. Harbaugh did a terrific job last cycle, landing both Colston Loveland and Marlin Klein and is already off to a nice start in 2023 by adding Rappleyea. That’s quite the trio. Harbaugh evaluates at a high level and gets on tight end prospects earlier than most. While he’s not known for having a magnetic personality, he really knows how to connect with guys at the position.
