Trio of Michigan commits named MaxPreps All-Americans

A trio of Michigan commits were named MaxPreps All-Americans this week.
Three-star Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward offensive lineman Ben Roebuck was listed on the first-team offense, while Top 100 Cincinnati (Ohio) Archbishop Moeller running back Jordan Marshall and On300 Austin (Texas) Vandegrift offensive lineman Blake Frazier were both listed on the second team offense.
Roebuck anchored a St. Edward offensive line that was widely considered one of the most dominant high school units in the country. The massive 6-foot-7, 340-pounder also helped lead St. Edward to its third straight DI state title. St. Edward became the first Ohio team to accomplish that feat since 1995.
Roebuck, the No. 32 offensive tackle and No. 530 overall prospect nationally, was an important recruiting win for Michigan in Ohio this cycle. He committed to U-M over Michigan State, Nebraska, Penn State, Tennessee, Wisconsin and others in March.
Frazier is another important piece of Michigan’s 2024 offensive line group. A U-M legacy, Frazier had a dominant senior season and helped lead Vandegrift to a 10-1 record and an appearance in the 6A Texas high school playoffs.
A 6-foot-5, 270 pounds, Frazier is ranked as the No. 11 offensive tackle and No. 161 overall prospect nationally. He committed to Michigan in April over offers from Clemson, Florida, Oregon, Penn State, Texas and a number of other major programs. Frazier is set to enroll early and join the team for Rose Bowl practices later this month.

Marshall was named the MaxPreps Ohio Player of the Year after rushing for 1,551 yards and 17 touchdowns, logging 30 receptions for 394 yards and four touchdowns and leading Moeller to a deep run in the playoffs.
Marshall is the highest ranked recruit in Michigan’s 2024 recruiting class, checking in as the No. 4 running back and No. 81 overall prospect nationally. Marshall was a massive win for Michigan this cycle as the Wolverines went into enemy territory and beat out rival Ohio State for his services.
Top 100 Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day quarterback Jadyn Davis was named the MaxPreps North Carolina Player of the Year but did not receive All-American honors. He passed for 3,370 yards and 43 touchdowns with nine interceptions as a senior.
Michigan has 26 verbal commitments in its 2024 recruiting class, which is ranked No. 4 in the Big Ten and No. 16 nationally, per the On3 Industry Ranking. The Wolverines will look to move into the Top 15 on National Signing Day this week.
