Wolverine TV: Game clips of Michigan EDGE commit Tariq Boney
The Wolverine’s EJ Holland recently made his way to Washington (D.C.) St. John’s to see three-star Michigan EDGE commit Tariq Boney in game action.

Boney recruitment
Boney committed to Michigan in late April, shortly following a spring visit.
The three-star prospect picked U-M over offers from Auburn, Georgia, Penn State, Tennessee, Washington and others.
Boney has remained solid with Michigan throughout the process and plans to be back in Ann Arbor for the game against Ohio State in November. He is set to be a regular enrollee.
Here is what Holland had to say about Boney.
“Boney had a really productive game against Good Counsel this weekend and has been a dominant force in the WCAC, one of the toughest high school leagues in America,” Holland said. “Boney is short and lacks length. However, he plays with fantastic combination of speed, power and technique. Michigan sees Boney as a Josaiah Stewart type of player. I do, too. Remember, Stewart was also on the short side but found a way to really excel at Michigan. Boney could follow a similar path.”
