Wolverine TV: Top 100 RB Jordan Marshall talks Michigan push, Mike Hart, recruiting timeline

The Wolverine recruiting analyst Zach Libby was in Cincinnati, Ohio, on Thursday and caught up with 2024 Archbishop Moeller Top 100 running back Jordan Marshall, the No. 4 ranked rising junior in the state of Ohio and the No. 4 tailback nationally, according to On3.com.
Marshall is reeling off his latest unofficial visit at Michigan on January 14th in what became his third-ever trip to Ann Arbor dating back to the prior spring. The Wolverines, who have tabbed Marshall as a top priority target at the running back position, also hosted the 5-foot-11 and 195-pounder on Halloween weekend for the Michigan State game.
Per On3.com, Marshall is also the No. 45 overall player in the country.
Michigan running backs coach Mike Hart and co-defensive coordinator Steve Clinkscale have pushed intensely for Marshall ever since the latter publicly reported an offer in June, putting the program in good position to be considered a contender heading into the February dead period.
Other schools that have brought Marshall on their respective campus include Ohio State, Penn State, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Northwestern, Cincinnati, and Iowa State. Marshall is expected to formally announce a top list this upcoming month and is looking at the summer to be verbally committed.
“(The visit) was great,” Marshall told The Wolverine. “Just the support that (Michigan shows) to all of their sports teams is amazing. Being at the hockey, it was loud, it was rowdy, all of the fights, it was great. Just to sit back and relax with Coach Hart and watch some hockey was great.

“(Michigan) is excellent in the classroom. They can almost be Ivy (League). So that’s really important to me and my family because there has to be something after football. Football only lasts for so long. I want to be able to provide for my family and I think I can do it at Michigan. That’s cool.”
