Grading NC State’s defensive position groups through first 7 games at first open date

NC State has finally reached its first of two open weeks after seven straight games to begin the 2025 campaign. The Wolfpack desperately needed a week off from games to focus on itself as it prepares for a gauntlet of a final five games to wrap up the regular season.  As the Pack (4-3, 1-2 ACC) works on improving all facets of its team before returning to the field next weekend at Pittsburgh (3:30 p.m., ACCN), let’s grade each of NC State’s defensive position groups through the first seven games of the season.
