Eight drives. Eight touchdowns. NC State's starting offense was dominant as it moved the ball at will to end all of its possessions in the end zone during the Wolfpack's 56-10 win over Campbell on Saturday afternoon, snapping a two-game losing streak. Sophomore quarterback CJ Bailey was uber efficient as he finished his outing 20-of-23 passing for 337 yards and a career-best four touchdowns through the air. Redshirt sophomore running back Hollywood Smothers, meanwhile, posted four carries for 123 yards and a touchdown to go along with two receptions for 30 yards and another score. The Wolfpack's receiving corps was balanced in the victory as 13 different players caught at least one pass. Redshirt sophomore Noah Rogers paced the team with 62 yards on three receptions, while senior tight end Justin Joly (four catches, 43 yards), sophomore wideout Terrell Anderson (two receptions, 50 yards) and senior tight end Cody Hardy (one catch, 37 yards) all posted a touchdown as well. While the offense was clicking on all cylinders to coast past the FCS Camels, Pro Football Focus rewarded the unit with five players earning 80.0 overall grades or better in the win. Hardy led the team with a 93.9 mark, while Smithers, Bailey and Joly were all closely behind. Let’s take a look at NC State’s full list of initial PFF grades and snap counts with notes to put some of the data into context.
