NC State football needs two more wins to achieve bowl eligibility for the fourth-consecutive year. With five games remaining in the regular season, experts from a variety of media outlets submitted their projections for where the Wolfpack will play in the postseason.

Bowl destinations ranged from New York City, New York, to El Paso, Texas. A postseason game is far from a guarantee at this point in the year, but all of the following outlets still expect the Pack to reach the six-win mark.

Starting with Yahoo Sports, Nick Bromberg projected NC State into a Sun Bowl showdown with Oregon State. That game is scheduled for Dec. 29 in El Paso.

Fox Sports reporter Bryan Fischer slotted the Wolfpack into the Dec. 28 Pinstripe Bowl, which will be played in New York’s Yankee Stadium, against Minnesota.

USA Today’s Erick Smith predicted a return to the Duke’s May Bowl in Charlotte, N.C.. The Wolfpack lost to Maryland in that contest in 2022. This year, Smith projected a showdown with Auburn.

Steven Lassan from Athlon Sports also sees NC State matching up with the Tigers and predicted that they will play in the Dec. 22 Gasparilla Bowl, which takes place in Tampa, Florida.

Action Network’s Brett McMurphy continues to project the Wolfpack into the Pinstripe Bowl, picking the program as a 0.5-point favorite against Rutgers.

To round out the projections, Kyle Bonagura and Mark Schlabach from ESPN both slotted NC State into postseason contests. Bonagura sees the Wolfpack playing in the Fenway Bowl, a Dec. 28 contest played in Boston, Mass., within the confines of Fenway Park, against SMU. Schlabach now projects NC State into the Sun Bowl for a showdown with Colorado.
