Pack Pros: Jakobi Meyers finds the end zone again with the Las Vegas Raiders

It was another full weekend of NFL football, which means NC State’s Pack pros were all in action for their respective teams, which included another touchdown from wideout Jakobi Meyers.

Here’s a look at how the Pack pros did in their games this weekend.

Center Garrett Bradbury (played at NC State from 2015-18), Minnesota Vikings: Bradbury played 57 snaps at center in the Chiefs’ 19-8 win over the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football.  He earned a 71.4 offensive grade from PFF for his effort in the win against former Pack Pro Russell Wilson. 

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett (2014-15), Washington Commanders: Brissettt did not play as he served as the Washington Commanders’ primary reserve quarterback in the team’s 24-16 win over the Atlanta Falcons. 

Outside linebacker Bradley Chubb (2014-17), Miami Dolphins: Chubb was second on the Dolphins with six tackles, including a sack and a quarterback hit, in the team’s 42-21 win over the Carolina Panthers. He recorded four solo tackles as the Dolphins won in come-from-behind fashion. 

Punter A.J. Cole III (2015-18), Las Vegas Raiders: Cole’s services were not needed often for the Raiders in the team’s 21-17 win over the New England Patriots. He recorded two punts for 103 yards, an average of 51.5 yards per attempt. The punter had a long of 57 and placed one kick inside the 20-yard line.

Offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu (2019-21), Carolina Panthers: Ekwonu played 68 snaps at left tackle in the Panthers’ 42-21 loss to the Miami Dolphins. He received a 59.8 offensive grade from PFF for his effort.

Punter Trenton Gill (2018-21), Chicago Bears: Gill punted four times in the Bears’ 19-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He averaged 44 yards per attempt and landed one kick inside the 20-yard line. Gill’s longest boot went 50 yards. 

Defensive lineman B.J. Hill Jr. (2014-17), Cincinnati Bengals: Hill recorded four tackles, two solo, with a pass breakup and two quarterback hits in the Bengals’ 17-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks. 

RB Nyheim Hines (2015-17), Buffalo Bills: Hines is out for the season with an injury suffered over the offseason. 

Safety Tanner Ingle, Los Angeles Rams (2018-22): Ingle is on the Rams’ practice squad.

Defensive tackle Justin Jones (2014-17), Chicago Bears: Jones logged seven tackles, the second-most on the team, in the Bears’ 19-13 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He recorded two tackles for a loss and had two quarterback hits to pace the team in both departments. 

Linebacker Vi Jones (2019-21), Seattle Seahawks: Jones was waived off of injured reserve by the Seahawks following an injury settlement.

Running back Zonovan Knight (2019-21), Detroit Lions: Knight is out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. He had one catch for eight yards, and three carries for 13 yards in his two appearances with the Lions this season.

Cornerback Nick McCloud (2016-19, finished at Notre Dame), New York Giants: McCloud logged two snaps in the Giants’ 14-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football. 

Defensive tackle T.Y. McGill Jr. (2011-14), San Francisco 49ers: McGill did not appear in the 49ers’ 19-17 loss to the Cleveland Browns. 

Defensive tackle Alim McNeill (2018-20), Detroit Lions: McNeill recorded a quarterback hit in the Lions’ 20-6 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (2016-18), Las Vegas Raiders: Another week, another touchdown for Meyers. He had five receptions for 51 yards and a score on seven targets in the team’s 21-17 win over the New England Patriots. The wideout has four touchdowns through five games with Las Vegas, the most recent coming against his former squad.

Defensive tackle Larrell Murchison (2018-19), Los Angeles Rams: Murchison did not appear in the Rams’ 26-9 win over the Arizona Cardinals. 

Cornerback Derrek Pitts Jr. (2021-22), Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Pitts did not appear in the Buccaneers’ 20-6 loss to the Detroit Lions. He has played in one game this season, the team’s week 3 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. 

Linebacker Germaine Pratt (2014-18), Cincinnati Bengals: Pratt logged six tackles, five solo, in the Bengals’ 17-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks. 

Defensive end James Smith-Williams (2016-19), Washington Commanders: Smith-Williams recorded one tackle in the Commanders’ 24-16 win over the Atlanta Falcons. He also logged two quarterback hits in the victory.

Defensive lineman Kentavius Street (2014-17), Philadelphia Eagles: Street recorded one tackle in the Eagles’ 20-14 loss to the New York Jets. 

Linebacker Drake Thomas (2019-22), Seattle Seahawks: Thomas did not play in the Seahawks’ 17-13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. 

Wide receiver Thayer Thomas (2017-22), Minnesota Vikings: Thomas is on the Vikings’ practice squad.

Offensive guard Joe Thuney (2012-15), Kansas City Chiefs: Thuney played 71 snaps in the Chiefs’ 19-8 win over the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football. He earned an elite 91.3 offensive grade from PFF for his effort against fellow Pack Pro Russell Wilson’s squad.

Wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling (2013-14, Finished at USF), Kansas City Chiefs: Valdes-Scantling was targeted once, but did not record a catch in the Chiefs’ 19-8 win over the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football. 

Quarterback Russell Wilson (2007-09/Finished at Wisconsin), Denver Broncos: Wilson was 13-of-22 passing for 95 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions in the Broncos’ 19-8 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday Night Football. He was sacked four times and posted a 9.8 QBR.

Offensive guard Chandler Zavala (2021-22), Carolina Panthers: Zavala missed the Panthers’ 42-21 loss to the Miami Dolphins after he exited the week 5 loss to the Detroit Lions with a neck injury. He did not practice all week leading up to the game as he recovered from the injury.
