Pack Pros: Alim McNeill records first multi-sack NFL game on Monday Night Football

It was another full weekend of NFL football, which means NC State’s Pack Pros were all in action for their respective teams, which included Alim McNeill‘s record-setting game with the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football.

Here’s a look at how the Pack Pros did in their games this weekend.

Center Garrett Bradbury (played at NC State from 2015-18), Minnesota Vikings: Bradbury played all 72 snaps at center in the Vikings’ 24-10 win over the Green Bay Packers. He recorded a 53.4 offensive grade, according to Pro Football Focus.

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett (2014-15), Washington Commanders: Brissettt did not play as he served as the Washington Commanders’ primary reserve quarterback in the team’s 38-31 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. 

Outside linebacker Bradley Chubb (2014-17), Miami Dolphins: Chubb recorded three tackles, two solo, including a sack and a tackle for loss in the Dolphins’ 31-17 win over the New England Patriots. He also logged two quarterback hits in the victory. It was his third straight game with at least one sack for the Dolphins.

Punter A.J. Cole III (2015-18), Las Vegas Raiders: Cole logged five punts for 542 yards in the Raiders’ 26-14 loss to the Detroit Lions. He averaged 48.4 yards per punt with two inside the 20-yard line. Cole also had a long of 52 yards in the contest. 

Offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu (2019-21), Carolina Panthers: Ekwonu played 67 snaps at left tackle in the Panthers’ 15-13 win over the Houston Texans, the team’s first victory of the season. He earned a 52.2 offensive grade, per PFF. 

Punter Trenton Gill (2018-21), Chicago Bears: Gill logged three punts for 126 yards in the Bears’ 30-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He had one punt inside the 20-yard line with a long of 47 yards.

Defensive lineman B.J. Hill Jr. (2014-17), Cincinnati Bengals: Hill made two tackles in the Bengals’ 31-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers. He logged one pass defended in the victory.

RB Nyheim Hines (2015-17), Buffalo Bills: Hines is out for the season with an injury suffered over the offseason. 

Safety Tanner Ingle, Los Angeles Rams (2018-22): Ingle is on the Rams’ practice squad.

Defensive tackle Justin Jones (2014-17), Chicago Bears: Jones recorded four tackles, including three solo, with two tackles for a loss and a pass defended in the Bears’ 30-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football.

Linebacker Vi Jones (2019-21), Seattle Seahawks: Jones was waived off of injured reserve by the Seahawks following an injury settlement.

Running back Zonovan Knight (2019-21), Detroit Lions: Knight is out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury. He had one catch for eight yards, and three carries for 13 yards in his two appearances with the Lions this season. 

Cornerback Nick McCloud (2016-19, finished at Notre Dame), New York Giants: McCloud recorded one tackle in the team’s 13-10 overtime loss to the New York Jets. 

Defensive tackle T.Y. McGill Jr. (2011-14), San Francisco 49ers: McGill did not appear in the 49ers’ 31-17 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Defensive tackle Alim McNeill (2018-20), Detroit Lions: McNeill logged four tackles, two solo, with two sacks and a pair of tackles for a loss in the Lions’ 26-14 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday Night Football. It marked his first-career multi-sack game in the NFL. McNeill also recorded one pass defended and two quarterback hits in the victory. He beat fellow Pack Pro Jakobi Meyers in prime time.

Wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (2016-18), Las Vegas Raiders: Meyers recorded one catch for 19 yards in the Raiders’ 26-14 loss to the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football. He was only targeted one time in the defeat. 

Defensive tackle Larrell Murchison (2018-19), Los Angeles Rams: Murchison logged three tackles, including one solo, in the Rams’ 43-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. 

Cornerback Derrek Pitts Jr. (2021-22), Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Pitts did not appear in the Buccaneers’ 24-18 loss to the Buffalo Bills. 

Linebacker Germaine Pratt (2014-18), Cincinnati Bengals: Pratt recorded five tackles, three solo, in the Bengals’ 31-17 win over the San Francisco 49ers. He also logged a pass defended on the road. He also made this highlight-reel interception.

Defensive end James Smith-Williams (2016-19), Washington Commanders: Smith-Williams logged one tackle in the Commanders’ 38-31 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. 

Defensive lineman Kentavius Street (2014-17), Philadelphia Eagles: Street was traded to the Atlanta Falcons ahead of the NFL trade deadline.

Linebacker Drake Thomas (2019-22), Seattle Seahawks: Thomas did not appear in the Seahawks’ 24-20 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Wide receiver Thayer Thomas (2017-22), Minnesota Vikings: Thomas is on the Vikings’ practice squad.

Offensive guard Joe Thuney (2012-15), Kansas City Chiefs: Thuney played all 60 snaps in the Chiefs’ 14-9 loss to the Denver Broncos at left guard. He earned a 56.0 offensive grade, according to PFF. 

Wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling (2013-14, Finished at USF), Kansas City Chiefs: Valdes-Scantling recorded two catches for 27 yards in the Chiefs’ 24-9 loss to the Denver Broncos.

Quarterback Russell Wilson (2007-09/Finished at Wisconsin), Denver Broncos: Wilson was 12-of-19 passing for 114 yards with three touchdowns in the Broncos’ 24-9 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. He averaged six yards per completion, while he was sacked six times in the game. Wilson led the Broncos to a win over the Chiefs for the first time since Peyton Manning did it in 2015. He beat fellow Pack Pros Thuney and Valdes-Scantling in the win.

Offensive guard Chandler Zavala (2021-22), Carolina Panthers: Zavala did not appear in the Panthers’ 15-13 win over the Houston Texans as he recovers from a neck injury.
