By now you’re probably aware that Notre Dame’s coaching staff is full of relatively young, new faces. How did they end up in South Bend, and when and where did they overlap?

Here is a comprehensive list of both FBS and NFL stops each of the 11 coaches have made. It is organized by conference because I think it’s interesting to see not only the schools, but the conferences and geographic regions.

The coaches have had stints at eight of the 10 FBS conferences, including all five Power Five leagues. They also have experience with five different NFL teams.

Eight of the 11 have coached or been on staff for a College Football Playoff game. Additionally, three of the coaches have coached in the Super Bowl, and one coach has hoisted the Lombardi Trophy.

Lastly, apparently the road to Notre Dame goes through Cincinnati.

Note: Schools are categorized by their current conference affiliation.
