Perhaps lost in the “To Be Continued” label head coach Marcus Freeman elected to stamp Sunday on sixth-ranked Notre Dame’s newly elongated QB1 storyline was how the passing offense around those dueling quarterbacks has done more evolving than stagnating. Not that there haven’t been growing pains.
