Newsstand: Notre Dame extends five new offers following Irish Invasion camp

It was a big weekend for Notre Dame football recruiting, as there were three separate camps held at the Irish Athletic Center Friday through Sunday. The final camp was the most notable, as high-level prospects descended upon South Bend for a Sunday evening workout with the entire coaching staff appropriately named Irish Invasion.
Five recruits walked away with new offers, four of whom are members of the 2024 class: Sunbury (Ohio) Big Walnut linebacker Garrett Stover, Hannibal (Mo.) High running back Aneyas Williams, Fort Wayne (Ind.) North Side wide receiver Tae Johnson and New Haven (Ind.) High wide receiver Mylan Graham.
Additionally, 2025 wide receiver Koby Howard, who hails from Pensacola (Fla.) Catholic, received an offer to play at Notre Dame.

Tweets of the weekend
Notre Dame baseball topped Texas Tech 2-1 on Sunday night to advance to the program’s second super regional in as many years. They will face No. 1 overall seed Tennessee in Knoxville, Tenn. next weekend. The team even got a nice bump from Irish head football coach Marcus Freeman.
Notre Dame head coach Link Jarrett got in on the celebrating as well.
On Sunday, 2023 Houston Kinkaid School cornerback Micah Bell announced both his list of top-10 schools as well as his commitment date, and the Irish are included among his finalists. Per On3 Consensus, the 5-11, 170-pound defensive back is the No. 34 corner, No. 67 Texan and No. 382 player in the 2023 class. Notre Dame is the heavy favorite according to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine (95 percent).
Quote of the weekend
“The story was the resilience of the pitching staff, and the defense behind them collecting outs. We talked about how badly you want those last nine, six, three outs, and to experience that, really for the whole tournament, is something I’ll remember. The trademark of how I felt in these games is walking out of there knowing how hard they fought to wrap these things up.”
— Jarrett following Notre Dame’s win over Texas Tech
