On May 19, Notre Dame sold out prime-time home games against Texas A&M (Sept. 13) and USC (Oct. 19). The Irish announced two more sellouts Wednesday afternoon.

Tickets to home games against Purdue on Sept. 20 and Boise State on Oct. 4 are no longer available, with the exception of the resale market. Fans hoping to buy tickets directly must now choose between NC State on Oct. 11, Navy on Nov. 8 and Syracuse, which will be Senior Night, on Nov. 22.

Intel on prospects the Irish hope to secure from Steve Wiltfong:

Quote of the day

“What I’ve learned about them the most is that football and being really good at it is really important to them. They study the game. They’re up in our offices all the time, watching tape, going back and watching the plays they did get from last year. Watching their practice tape. Watching this year’s practice tape. Watching last year’s practice tape.

“They’re students of the game that just seem to love the process. You got somebody like that, and you got two guys like that, you’re in a pretty good position because those guys give themselves an opportunity to continue to grow and get better.”
