Newsstand: Notre Dame NIL collective to host luncheon with star players before home opener

Rally, Notre Dame’s NIL collective, is hosting a luncheon on Friday, Sept. 12 — the day before the Irish host Texas A&M — featuring a Q&A with running back Jeremiyah Love, safety Adon Shuler and offensive lineman Charles Jagusah.
Jessica Smetana, co-host of Notre Dame podcast The Echoes and sports podcast The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz, will host the Q&A. The luncheon will run from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. ET at the Embassy Suites by Hilton South Bend at Notre Dame, located on Angela Boulevard.
Fans can also expect to hear from Notre Dame football general manager Mike Martin, and Rally teased “other surprise student-athlete appearances,” too. Tickets, which include a plated lunch, are sold on Rally’s website for $125 each. Fans can also purchase a table of 10 for $1,000.

Quote of the day
“By sharing this story, the raw and ugly truth of it, I’m hoping to connect with others who feel that same lostness. My hope is that my experience can become a guiding light for someone else, a signal that it’s OK to not have it all figured out, and that the greatest comeback isn’t on a football field — it’s in putting your life back together. Sharing this is the first step in turning my personal hell into a source of hope. And in that, I’ve found a purpose more meaningful than I ever could have imagined.”
