On Tuesday evening, On3 vice president of national college football recruiting Steve Wiltfong put in his second prediction in two days for a recent official visitor to choose Notre Dame.

This time, Wiltfong projected four-star offensive tackle Grayson McKeogh to pick the Irish. McKeogh has set a commitment date for July 1, and he’ll decide between Notre Dame, Texas and his home-state school, Penn State.

“It definitely helped give me a sense of who I’m going to be around and the type of players they are,” McKeogh told Blue & Gold after his official visit this past weekend. “So, when I’m going through my different visits and comparing them, [I’m looking at] what guys am I comfortable around and all that kind of stuff.”

The Irish have four offensive linemen committed in the 2026 class, all of whom carry a four-star rating by at least one outlet: Tyler Merrill, Ben Nichols, Sullivan Garvin and Gregory Patrick. All four current commits project as guards at the next level, while McKeogh is a true tackle.

Quote of the day

“Those are just the type of people who go there. It’s people who have the same values. They can have guys like me, Sully [Garvin], Ben [Nichols] and Greg [Patrick] come in and just immediately click with them.

“There’s no, ‘You have to get acclimated and be here for a semester to get used to everyone.’ Like, no. You come in and you’re like everyone else. Because that’s just the type of people they recruit there. I think it’s awesome that there are no labels, this guy is better than this guy. It’s truly a brotherhood there. It’s just awesome.”
