Wyndmoor (Pa.) La Salle College class of 2026 offensive tackle Grayson McKeogh announced his top three schools through a social media post with On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Friday. Notre Dame, Penn State and Texas are the schools McKeogh will be considering moving forward.

The four-star recruit finalized his official visit schedule as well. He’ll be at Penn State June 6, Notre Dame June 13 and Texas June 20.

Penn State was one of the first schools to offer McKeogh, who ranks as the No. 271 overall player and No. 20 offensive tackle in America per the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking. The in-state program joined McKeogh’s offer list November 2024 and has hosted him on campus a few times.

Notre Dame offered McKeogh in late March and got him to campus a couple weeks later. Irish sources are very optimistic about their chances of landing McKeogh, given how much the 6-7, 280-pounder values academics.

Texas is late to the party, having just offered him on May 19. But the Longhorns have his attention and will host him for his final official visit.

More from McKeogh on Notre Dame

McKeogh learned a lot about the Fighting Irish during his visit to campus last month, and that catapulted Notre Dame up his list.

“The biggest thing is it was really personal,” McKeogh told Blue & Gold. “All the meetings were just me and my family. … I’ve gotten similar (treatment from other schools), but to the extent of (Notre Dame), no.”

McKeogh said the extent of their efforts mattered since Notre Dame was one of his most recent offers.

“For them, it definitely does,” he said following his visit. “Because they came in a little later for me. They’ve always been there, but I never understood their interest. That’s what I was looking for going up there: whether that interest was real because there’s only so much I can tell over the phone. So, they definitely reinforced that.”

During McKeogh’s Notre Dame visit, Rudolph and Co. said he could be on a similar trajectory to Joe Alt, who thrived at Notre Dame and became a first-round NFL Draft pick.

“They think I’m that guy and can turn out similar to someone like Joe Alt,” McKeogh said. “They found parallels between me and him coming into his freshman year. So, they could really develop me. They think I have a really high upside. …

“They told me how he came in as a tight end. He wasn’t the heaviest, but he was definitely taller than most. It was the idea of switching positions growing up, finding that spot on the O-line and getting stronger and heavier, but being able to maintain that athletic ability while you’re there.”
