Four Notre Dame-bound recruits to play in Under Armour All-America Game
Four future Notre Dame football players, including 2026 five-star safety Joey O’Brien and 2027 four-star quarterback Teddy Jarrard, are set to participate in the Under Armour All-America Game next month.
On Thursday, Under Armour released the initial rosters for its All-America Game, held Jan. 3 (4 p.m. ET on ESPN) at Spec Martin Stadium in DeLand, Fla. In addition to O’Brien and Jarrard, 2026 four-star offensive lineman Ben Nichols and 2027 four-star linebacker Amarri Irvin are listed as participants.
Under Armour also listed 2026 five-star cornerback Khary Adams on its roster. However, Adams told Blue & Gold that he no longer plans to play.
This is the second year Under Armour has allowed high school juniors to partake in the game. Last year, Irish 2026 four-star running back Javian Osborne from Forney (Texas) High appeared in the game. So did Notre Dame 2025 class kicker Erik Schmidt out of Milwaukee (Wis.) Marquette University High.
This year, Kennesaw (Ga.) North Cobb’s Jarrard and Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy’s Irvin, the Nos. 124 and 213 overall players in the 2027 class, will compete as juniors. Wyndmoor (Pa.) La Salle College’s O’Brien and Davison (Mich.) High’s Nichols, the Nos. 31 and 178 players in the 2026 class, signed with Notre Dame Dec. 3 and will early enroll in mid-January.
