Look: Notre Dame sends out official full-ride scholarship offers to 2026 class commits

Notre Dame football’s 2026 recruiting class is one step closer to enrolling at the university. On Friday, college football programs, in compliance with NCAA rules and regulations, sent out full-ride scholarship offers to rising high school seniors. The Fighting Irish took action by mailing those official offers to its 26 verbal commitments and last remaining defensive line target, Elijah Golden, in the 2026 recruiting class.

Golden, along with Notre Dame pledges quarterback Noah Grubbs, running back Javian Osborne, running back Jonaz Walton, wide receiver Bubba Frazier, offensive lineman Sullivan Garvin, offensive lineman Ben Nichols, cornerback Khary Adams, cornerback Chaz Smith and defensive back Nick Reddish all posted their official scholarship offer packages on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Congratulations on your exceptional achievements so far in your football career. Additionally, your high level of success in the classroom and the respect you have earned from your teachers, coaches and counselors is remarkable. I hope that this letter finds you prepared and ready to build on that exceptional reputation during your senior season.

As a result of the remarkable impression you have made on our staff, we are formally offering you a full Football Scholarship to attend the University of Notre Dame. This scholarship includes all allowable elements under NCAA regulations, as outlined below:

1. Full Tuition and Registration Fees
2. Required Course-Related Fees
3. Room and Board
4. Required Textbooks
5. One of the highest Costs of Attendance in the Nation!

This award is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of your senior year, athletically and academically, while upholding a high standard of character and behavior. NCAA minimum academic standards must be satisfied and institutional admissions requirements must be met.

We are looking forward to sharing with you and your family all of the reasons why the University of Notre Dame is the place for you. We will compete for National Championships and help develop you into being the man you aspire to become off of it. I believe you have the ability to accomplish anything you set as a goal and the talent to be one of the best football players in the country.
