Newsstand: What is the spread for the Texas A&M vs. Notre Dame game?

BetMGM still likes the No. 8 Irish (0-1) to beat No. 16 Texas A&M (2-0) on Saturday night despite Notre Dame football’s season-opening loss at Miami. Entering Week 3, BetMGM lists BetMGM is a 6.5-point favorite against the Aggies. The over/under points total is 48.5.
The Irish are 0-1 versus the spread this season after failing to beat the Hurricanes in Week 1 as a 2.5-point favorite. On the other hand, Texas A&M is 0-2 against the spread, failing to cover in wins against UTSA and Utah State. The points total in Notre Dame’s game, and both of Texas A&M’s, both went over.
Last season, the Irish covered the spread with a 23-13 outright win as a 3-point underdog in College Station. Notre Dame went on to finish as one of the best teams against the spread in all of college football last season. The Irish were 12-3-1 ATS. That mark ranked fourth in college football behind Arizona State, Marshall and Minnesota.

Just trusting that they’ll put you in the right position, put you in the right spot to go win championships, and ultimately go to the league.”
