Transfer tracker: Former Notre Dame QB Steve Angeli spearheads Week 4 upset before injury

Steve Angeli put the wheels in motion for an upset. On Saturday, the former Notre Dame quarterback led Syracuse to a 34-21 victory over Clemson despite being a 17.5-point underdog on the road.
However, Angeli only played about 70% of the game. With 3:01 to play in the third quarter, he suffered a non-contact injury on an open-field run. It was later revealed to be a torn Achilles, for which he had surgery on Wednesday.
Before his season-ending injury, Angeli amassed 1,317 yards in four games, a mark that ranks second in the country through four weeks.
