Notre Dame football: A full look at future Fighting Irish schedules

Conference realignment is going to dictate what college football programs’ future schedules look like, but as it stands Notre Dame has opponents scheduled all the way out to 2037. Below is a look at what Notre Dame’s future schedules look like through that year.
The next two Fighting Irish football seasons are highlighted by the Irish’s home and home with Texas A&M. The Irish go to College Station, Texas, next year before welcoming the Aggies to South Bend, Ind., in 2025. The Irish have a similar home and home with Alabama in 2029-30.
You’ll notice the Irish are still missing a 12th game for the 2024 season. A trip to Miami was rescheduled for 2025. The Hurricanes will go to South Bend in 2026. The 2024 schedule will be updated in this file when it gets announced.

It’ll be interesting to see if the Irish’s rivalry with Stanford is continued after the Cardinal’s move from the Pac-12 to the ACC. The same goes for the USC Trojans going from the Pac-12 to the Big Ten.
Notre Dame’s football independence gives the program a lot of leeway to make its own decisions in scheduling. The only guidelines the Irish are currently tied down by are needing to fulfill a partial membership to the ACC. You’ll notice many of the Irish’s future opponents are in the ACC. Notre Dame has to schedule five games a year with teams in that conference.
