Newsstand: Star-studded Notre Dame football trio to host youth camp in South Bend
If you want to be the best, it’s a good start to learn from the best. South Bend youth football players have the opportunity to do that this summer. Notre Dame stars, past and present, are hosting a youth camp on Saturday, July 22, at St. Joseph’s High School.
The camp will be run by current Irish running back Audric Estime and left tackle Joe Alt in addition to former Irish linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, who now suits up for the Cleveland Browns. Camp enrollees will have opportunities for autographs and photos with the trio. Everyone receives a t-shirt, too, included in the $150 registration fee.
Participants will be grouped by position, age and ability and will take part in group training, combine testing, a 7-on-7 tournament, linemen challenges for offensive and defensive linemen, special teams drills for kickers and punters and plenty of prizes for competition winners throughout the camp, which spans from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Quote of the day
“The misconception of the support, at no time during this process did I not have the support of Jack Swarbrick and the administration. I want to be very crystal clear about that. At no point during this process or since I’ve been here do I not feel that I’ve have had the support. He has offered to pay whatever buyout there’s been.”
