The Atlantic Coast Conference has revealed each team’s home and away opponents for the 2025-26 men’s basketball season, its first with 18 league games per team instead of 20.

Notre Dame’s opponents are as follows:

Home and away opponents: Boston College, Stanford

Home opponents: Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami, NC State, Virginia

Away opponents: California, Louisville, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, SMU, Syracuse, Virginia Tech

Notre Dame does not face Wake Forest this season, but it will go up against every other school in the ACC.

In two seasons under head coach Micah Shrewsberry, the Irish are 15-25 in ACC games. Notre Dame went 8-12 in league play last season, defeating Syracuse, Boston College twice, Virginia, Georgia Tech, Pitt, Stanford and Cal but falling to Georgia Tech, North Carolina, NC State, Duke, Syracuse, Miami, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Louisville, SMU, Clemson and Wake Forest.

Notre Dame finished tied for ninth in the ACC standings after the 2024-25 season, earning the No. 12 seed in the ACC tournament. The Irish beat Pitt in the first round but lost to North Carolina in the second round, ending their season with an overall record of 15-18.

Notre Dame added one player during pivotal offseason for Shrewsberry’s program, and its roster is finalized for the 2025-26 campaign.

On April 13, the Irish secured a commitment from Northern Arizona transfer forward Carson Towt. He will be their only transfer addition, and he was the nation’s leading rebounder at Northern Arizona this past season at 12.4 per game. The Irish believe his rebounding will translate and they love his ability to pass out of the post (3.4 assists per game in 2024-25).

Here is Notre Dame’s scholarship chart for the 2025-26 season. As a reminder, teams are expected to have 15 roster spots available — all of which can be used on scholarship players — as a result of the House Settlement that is expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
