Here are the snap counts and participation charts for Notre Dame vs. NC State, as well as this season so far for the Irish. All data is via Pro Football Focus.

For some clarification: A pass snap, as PFF defines it, is running a route or dropping back to pass. A run snap equates to carrying the ball. Anyone who does not do those three things is either run blocking or pass blocking, depending on the play.

Notes

• Notre Dame has an interesting decision coming up with Cooper Flanagan, who has played in all three games (only on special teams vs. Navy). Redshirt decisions regarding Jaden Greathouse, Rico Flores Jr. and Jeremiyah Love are easy, but is it worth burning Flanagan’s to play in two more games on kickoff return and/or in garbage time?

• Speaking of Love — it was close, but he played the second-most snaps at running back this week.

• Notre Dame’s run-pass splits were exactly 50-50 with the first-team offense in.

Jayden Thomas led the receivers in snaps by 16 over No. 2, Tobias Merriweather.

• Greathouse and Chris Tyree haven’t played as many snaps as some would like, but they’re tied for fourth on the team in routes run this season. Thomas and Merriweather will always be Nos. 2 and 3, because they play in 12 personnel and Mitchell Evans will be No. 1 because he plays almost every snap, but the slot receivers are getting plenty of opportunities.
