Notes

• This was the most snaps sophomore linebacker Jaylen Sneed played since Week 3 vs. Central Michigan, when he played 26, almost exclusively as a situational pass rusher. This is the Sneed the Irish envisioned heading into this season.

• Notre Dame rotated its Vypers much more than it did earlier this season. Senior Jordan Botelho‘s 28 snaps are his lowest in a full game (he played 22 last week after being suspended for the first half due to a targeting penalty).

• Freshman Vyper Boubacar Traore played one snap with the game in doubt and beat his blocker clean off the ball for a strip-sack. Notre Dame should spend its bye week getting Traore ready to play a bigger role.

• Twenty-two was the most snaps sophomore cornerback Jaden Mickey played since Week 2 vs. NC State (27). The Irish ran several dime and quarters sets against a spread team in USC.
