Notre Dame football had a bye last week. Still, 12 players appeared in games … former players, that is. Blue & Gold breaks down how this year’s transfers performed in Week 2. A look at how they fared in Week 1 can be found here.

OL Ty Chan (Connecticut): In the same game, Chan started at right guard and played 67 of 82 snaps. He did not surrender any pressures, but was penalized once. When running behind the right guard, the Huskies gained 29 yards on 3 carries (9.7 yards per attempt). Chan also saw 3 snaps at left guard.

WR Deion Colzie (Miami Ohio): Played 42 of 48 snaps and had a 9-yard catch in a 45-17 loss to Rutgers.

OL Pat Coogan (Indiana): Started at center and played 63 of 69 snaps in a 56-9 victory over Kennesaw State. He did not allow any pressures, and rushers averaged 5.9 yards per carry (9 rushes, 53 yards) when running left or right middle, which he was primarily responsible for.

DL Tyson Ford (California): Did not play in Cal’s 35-3 win at Texas Southern.

EDGE Aiden Gobaira (James Madison): Played 27 snaps and logged 2 tackles in a 28-14 loss to Louisville.

He led the team with 5 solo tackles, including 1 stop for loss, and had a forced fumble. Pro Football Focus also credited Mickey with 6 run stops, 2 quarterback hurries and 1 pass breakup. He gave up just 21 yards on 5 catches when targeted 6 times.
