Notre Dame has a few dozen prospects expected in for its annual Blue-Gold Game, which includes class of 2024 signees, class of 2025 commitments, offered targets in the 2025 and 2026 cycles, and some prospects who could earn offers from the Irish down the line.

Blue & Gold recruiting insider Mike Singer breaks down who will be visiting Notre Dame for the spring game.

COMMITS AND SIGNEES

About half of Notre Dame’s high school recruits enroll early these days, but for the group who doesn’t, many of them make it to the spring game. Linebackers Teddy Rezac and Bodie Kahoun, wide receiver Logan Saldate, offensive tackle Guerby Lambert, safeties Tae Johnson and Taebron Bennie-Powell, and cornerback Karson Hobbs will be on campus, as well as the following preferred walk-on commits: quarterback Anthony Rezac, offensive lineman Max Anderson and wide receiver Xavier Southall.

Notre Dame has 19 verbal commitments in the 2025 class, and nine of them are expected to be in South Bend this weekend, plus the Irish’s lone 2026 pledge. Those prospects are listed below.

Greenwich (Conn.) Brunswick School OT Matty Augustine
Wallingford (Conn.) Choate Rosemary Hall OT Will Black
Miami Palmetto DL Davion Dixon
Honolulu Punahou LB Ko’o Kia
Lucedale (Miss.) George County QB Deuce Knight
Elmhurst (Ill.) York Community DL Joseph Reiff
Philadelphia St. Joseph’s Prep School LB Anthony Sacca
Waukesha (Wis.) Catholic Memorial OT Owen Strebig
Tampa (Fla.) Jesuit RB Justin Thurman
Boca Raton (Fla.) Saint Andrew’s School WR Dylan Faison (2026)

JUST ONE 2025 TARGET?

We’ll see if this changes, but for now, there is only one uncommitted, offered class of 2025 target visiting Notre Dame Saturday. You might wonder why there aren’t more, and that’s in large part due to the Irish already having most of their top 2025 targets on campus this spring. Plus, there’s just not many targets left on the board in general.

But the 2025 target due in is none other than Cocoa (Fla.) High’s Jayvan Boggs, the nation’s No. 211 overall prospect and No. 26 wide receiver per the On3 Industry Ranking. Boggs, a former Ohio State commit, didn’t add Notre Dame to his offer sheet until the end of February, and the Irish have quickly made up for lost time. He has clicked with the ND staff and Deuce Knight, and Boggs is excited about getting to campus this weekend.

“I just wanna see what they have to offer,” Boggs told On3’s Steve Wiltfong. “I hear a lot of great things about them so I just wanna go see for myself!”

On Wednesday, Boggs announced a top seven of UCF, USC, Georgia, Missouri, Texas, Florida and Notre Dame.

There is an intriguing 2025 defensive lineman expected on campus, but he doesn’t have an offer from the Irish yet. Brandywine (Md.) Gwynn Park’s Aubrey Melvin tells Blue & Gold that he’ll make it to Notre Dame.

2026 TARGETS TO VISIT

Notre Dame was busy last month for Pot of Gold Day, offering several dozen prospects in the 2026 class. And several of them are scheduled to be in South Bend Saturday.

There are a few linebacker recruits due in for the staff: Harrisburg (Pa.) Bishop McDevitt’s Maurice Barnes, Chester (Va.) Huguenot’s Markel Dabney, Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial’s Tai’Yion King and Cleveland Glenville’s Cincere Johnson.

We previously reported that Philadelphia Imhotep Institute linebacker Charles Belser would be visiting as well, but we’re told he might not be able to make it in.

The Irish will host two talented defensive line prospects who play their high school ball in the Sunshine State. Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy’s Elijah Golden and Pensacola (Fla.) Pensacola Catholic’s Trenton Henderson are set to check out campus.
