BREAKING: Three-star OT Aaron Thomas commits to Ohio State

COLUMBUS — The Buckeyes get much-needed win the recruiting trail. Ohio State offensive line coach Tyler Bowen has landed another big man.
Three-star Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe offensive tackle Aaron Thomas has committed to the Buckeyes. The 6-foot-6, 274-pound Thomas chose Ohio State over Florida State, Texas and Texas A&M following his official visit this weekend.
Thomas ranks as the No. 520 overall prospect and No. 39 offensive tackle in the 2026 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. On3 ranks Thomas the No. 38 offensive tackle this cycle.
Thomas is the 17th commitment for Ohio State in the 2026 class. He joins an already talented offensive line class for the Buckeyes. Four-star Akron (Ohio) Archbishop Hoban offensive lineman Sam Greer, four-star Avon Lake (Ohio) interior offensive lineman Max Riley and three-star Phoenix (Ariz.) Sandra Day O’Conner offensive lineman Tucker Smith are in the fold. The Buckeyes also have Four-star Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra defensive lineman Khary Wilder committed along the defensive line.
Ohio State also has a talented four-man wide receiver class. Five-star Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei wide receiver Chris Henry Jr. is the headliner. The Buckeyes also have Four-star Inglewood (Calif) Mater Dei wide receiver Kayden Dixon-Wyatt, four-star Pataskala (Ohio) Watkins Memorial wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts and four-star Southlake Carroll (Texas) wide receiver Brock Boyd in the class.

Three-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School tight end Corbyn Fordham rounds out the offensive class for the Buckeyes.
Defensively, Ohio State has four-star Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville linebacker Cincere Johnson and four-star Lewis Center (Ohio) Olentangy linebacker CJ Sanna committed on the second-level. Four-star Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic safety Blaine Bradford, four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School safety Simeon Caldwell, four-star Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic athlete Jordan Thomas and four-star Avon (Ohio) cornerback Jakob Weatherspoon make up the secondary class for the Buckeyes.
