COLUMBUS – Ohio State has added to its highly-touted 2026 recruiting class.

Three-star Baltimore (Md.) St. Frances Academy safety Khmari Bing committed to Ohio State. Bing, a former Maryland commit, reopened his recruitment earlier this week and the Buckeyes have completed the flip. Alabama and Indiana also tried to flip Bing but were unsuccessful.

Bing is the No. 904 overall prospect and No. 89 safety this cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking. Rivals ranks Bing as the No. 100 safety in the 2026 class.

The 6-foot, 190-pound Bing is third safety commitment for the Buckeyes this cycle. He joins four-star Baton Rouge (La.) Catholic safety Blaine Bradford and four-star Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School safety Simeon Caldwell in the class.

Ohio State also has four-star Oradell (N.J.) Bergen Catholic athlete Jordan Thomas committed at cornerback. He was the top target for cornerbacks coach Tim Walton this cycle.

Safeties coach Matt Guerrieri wanted a third safety in this class and now he has one in Khmari Bing.
