BREAKING: Ohio State lands four-star RB Anthony Rogers on National Signing Day

COLUMBUS – Ohio State has landed four-star Montgomery (Ala) Carver running back Anthony Rogers on National Signing Day. The Buckeyes wanted a third running back this cycle and now they have one in the form of a former Alabama commitment.
Rogers committed to the Crimson Tide in June of 2023. Following his official visit to Ohio State, however, he backed off his commitment to the in-state school.
Ohio State hosted Rogers, the No. 166 overall prospect and the No. 11 running back in the On3 Industry Rankings, for an official visit the weekend of the Purdue game. After the visit, Rogers spoke highly of his time in Columbus to On3’s Chad Simmons.
“The visit was good,” Rogers said. “I enjoyed the environment and I like their offensive system. They let me know that they want me. They feel I have an opportunity to produce there with my skill set and that they could develop and help me get to the NFL.”
