Death, taxes… and Dwayne Haskins winning Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week? It may be time for an addendum to that well-known maxim. After all, he’s now earned that title three weeks in a row.

On Monday morning, Haskins once again earned that honor following a 455-yard and six touchdown outburst as Ohio State topped Indiana 49-26. Haskins’ six touchdown tosses matched an Ohio State record, a distinction he now shares with J.T. Barrett and Kenny Guiton. His 33 completions set a new career high and tied the mark Barrett set last October in the Buckeyes thrilling 39-38 comeback win against Penn State. Haskins fell four yards short of breaking Art Schlichter’s 38-year-old record for passing yards in a single game.

The Buckeyes 6-foot-3, 220-pound redshirt sophomore picked up his fourth Big Ten Player of the Week award in six weeks and has firmly established himself as a top national contender for the Heisman Trophy.
