LOOK: Five-stars, top targets arrive at Ohio State for their official visits

COLUMBUS – The Buckeyes first official visit weekend of the summer got underway on Friday.

Ohio State will welcomed 12 prospect ands their families to campus this weekend. Lettermen Row has some sights and sounds from the prospects that have already arrived in Columbus.

Four-star Dunlap (Ill.) tight end Mack Sutter was the first prospect to arrive at Ohio State for his official visit. Sutter’s father, Eddie, played for the Cleveland Browns from 1993-95 so the family made a quick stop in Berea on Thursday before heading to Columbus. Sutter will also visit Alabama and Penn State in June.

Five-star Mansfield (Texas) Lake Ridge offensive tackle Felix Ojo began his official visit on Friday with some time at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. The Buckeyes are battling Florida, Michigan Oklahoma and Texas for the 6-foot-7, 274-pound Ojo.

Another Ohio State offensive line target that is in Columbus this weekend is three-star Phoenix (Ariz.) Mountain Pointe offensive tackle Aaron Thomas. He spent time in the Buckeyes trophy room on Friday before the rest of his official visit began.

All 12 official visitors and their family got a tour Ohio Stadium on Friday night before going to dinner. Five-star Gainesville (Ga.) linebacker Xavier Griffin, four-star Middletown (N.J.) Hun School EDGE Luke Wafle and four-star Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra defensive lineman Khary Wilder posted about their time in the ‘Shoe on Instagram.

Five-star Mineral (Va.) Louisa County running back Savion Hiter also posted about his arrival at Ohio State on Instagram. The Buckeyes receives the first official first visit from Hiter before he heads to Georgia, Michigan and Tennessee in the next three weeks.

Additionally, four-star Orlando (Fla.) IMG Academy EDGE Jake Kreul and four-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy offensive lineman Breck Kolojay took to X on Friday afternoon to let the recruiting world know they’ll be at Ohio State this weekend.

Three-star Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy defensive lineman Cameron Brickle and three-star Ohio State tight end commit Corbyn Fordham out of Jacksonville (Fla.) The Bolles School were the only official visitors in Columbus on Friday.

The Buckeyes will also host four-star Ohio State wide receiver Jaeden Ricketts out of Pataskala (Ohio) Watkins Memorial for an official visit this weekend. Ricketts will arrive in Columbus late, however, because of his regional track meet on Friday night.
