COLUMBUS — The Ohio State men’s basketball schedule is officially out in full. The Buckeyes have a challenging stretch in the nonconference, a good opening to Big Ten play and a long trip for a two-game swing on the West Coast.

Ohio State will open the season on Nov. 3 inside the Schottenstein Center when UIndy comes to Columbus. The first real challenge of the season should come on Nov. 16 against Notre Dame. A road trip to Pittsburgh, two neutral-site games and a couple of Big Ten challenges await the Buckeyes in December before Big Ten play really begins to heat up.

Notable conference games include a pair against Michigan, one at home and on the road, a pair against Indiana, one at home and one on the road and a late-February road trip to Michigan State.

Jake Diebler enters his second season with plenty of pressure after missing the NCAA Tournament in his first season at the helm of the program. The Buckeyes were expected to make the tournament but lost pivotal games down the stretch last year, finishing 17-15 overall and 9-11 in conference play, including being bounced from the first round of the Big Ten Tournament.

This upcoming season needs to be better, and the Buckeyes have semi-overhauled the roster with transfers they expect to help them out a great bit.
