Buckeyes matchup against Texas will be on FOX

COLUMBUS — Ohio State now knows it will have at least two games on the Big Ten’s main television network for the biggest matchups. The Buckeyes announced Monday that the season opener against Texas and the regular-season finale at Michigan will both be broadcast on FOX.
On Nov. 29, The Game will be at Noon on FOX. FOX was never going to give up its biggest game of the season. The network announced a Noon kickoff on FOX in the middle of May for last year’s matchup. Now that it’s officially set to broadcast The Game again this year, we already know it’ll be played at Noon up in Ann Arbor as Ohio State goes for its first win over Michigan since 2019.

The defending champions will also face the Texas Longhorns in the season opener on FOX. Of course, this was expected. FOX wasn’t going to pass up broadcasting the top two programs in terms of ratings on its network. Most wanted that to be a night game, but FOX scooped up that game. But just like Texas at Michigan was last year, FOX will likely put Texas at Ohio State on in the Noon window to kick off the season — especially now that it officially has the matchup on its network.
No other TV network announcements have been made, and no kickoff times are officially set yet.
